On June 21, Minister Kwon Youngse had his first Press Conference as
the Unification Minister at the Office of Inter-Korean
Dialogue.
In his remarks, Minister Kwon emphasized three major
issues to be pursued by the Ministry.
First, the Ministry will
make efforts to turn the current stalemate into dialogue.
Second,
solutions to humanitarian issues will be pursued in a practical manner
under consistent principles.
Third, Unification and North Korea
policies will be made in cooperation with the people and the
international community.
