Jamboree Mexican scouts went on a security field trip where they
experienced the reality of the division of the Korean Peninsula
The Center for Unified Korean Future accommodates Mexican scouts
participating in the 25th World Scout Jamboree-2023 SaeManGeum (August 8)
On August 8, The Center for Unified Korean Future accommodated about
360 Mexican scouts participating in the 25th World Scout Jamboree-2023 SaeManGeum.
On day 2, August 9, the Mexican scouts took a field trip to the
Second Tunnel and the Peace Observatory situated in Cheorwon-gun.
On the same day, they visited top Yeoncheon attractions such as the
UNESCO-designated Hantangang Milky Way Bridge, which features gorges
with columnar joints, and the Jaein Falls.
On day 3, August 10, they went to the Odusan Unification Tower in
Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the Jeongok Prehistory Museum in Yeoncheon
where they experienced the reality of the division of the Korean Peninsula.
Also, the Mexican Ambassador to Korea and the National Assembly
member Kim Sungwon paid a call to encourage the scouts.
This evening on day 4, the scouts are scheduled to go to a K-POP
concert at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The Center for Unified Korean Future will do its to support the
Mexican scouts participating in the 25th World Scout Jamboree-2023
SaeManGeum so that they can enjoy a safe and meaningful time until the end.
