Raising unification awareness among the young generations through a
lecture on “spreading the realities of North Korea”
Unification Ministry holds a talk concert on stories about North
Korea (April 3, Sungshin Women’s University)
On April 3, the Ministry of Unification held a talk concert on
stories about North Korea under the theme of North Korean economy,
culture, and women at Sungshin Women’s University.
The event featured a keynote lecture by the Minister of Unification
on the realities of North Korean economy and society, followed by a
talk concert with North Korean defectors.
During his keynote lecture, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho
reiterated that it is important for our people to accurately know and
understand the realities and changes in North Korea. Minister Kim
further expressed his hope that the event will “help university
students and the young generations raise their awareness of
unification, noting that awareness of the need for unification among
young people is declining.”
In the following talk concert with the Minister of Unification, an
open discussion on the realities of North Korea under the theme of
North Korean economy, culture, and women was held with Professor Jeong
Eun-chan at the National Institute for Unification Education, who was
invited to the event as a panelist.
