Today, on the day of the Lunar New Year, Vice Minister Kim attended a
memorial service held by people whose relatives are in North Korea and
met with the heads of related organizations to hear their concerns.
The minister reaffirmed his proposal made during the last Chuseok
holiday, Korean Thanksgiving Day, for talks on arranging humanitarian
reunions for separated families and urged Pyeongyang to promptly
resolve issues of separated families, abductees, and detainees.
