On October 8, the
North Korean media reported that the music and dance performances
given by the Moranbong Band, the State Merited Chorus, and the
Wangjaesan Art Troupe are attracting larger audiences day by day.
On October 11, the North Korean media reported the
completion of construction of the Sunchon Catfish Farm.
On
October 11, the North Korean media reported that the Sci-Tech Complex
has established a nationwide network system for sci-tech dissemination
as part of the efforts to integrate and systemize the knowledge
resources of the country.
【Inter-Korean Affairs】
On October 7, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson
for the Nationwide Emergency Measure Committee against DPRK-targeted
Nuclear War Exercises, in a statement, condemned the discussion on the
rotational deployment of more US strategic military assets to the
Korean Peninsula and issued threats.
On October 13, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson
for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation, in a
statement, called on the ROK government to change its policy on North
Korea.
【Foreign Affairs】
On October 13, the North Korean media reported that the Foreign
Ministry’s Institute for American Studies, in a commentary, denounced
the US B-1B strategic bombers’ night-time aviation exercises over the
Korean Peninsula and the USS Michigan’s scheduled visit to the port of
Busan, and threatened the US.
