North Korean media reported that China’s special envoy Song Tao met
with high-ranking North Korean official Choe Ryong Hae and with Ri Su
Yong, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the North's ruling
Workers' Party, in Pyongyang on November 18.

22, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters,
blasted the US for redesignating North Korea as a state sponsor of
terrorism (November 20).
On November 22, the North Korean
media reported that a spokesperson for the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace
Committee, in a statement, called on the US to withdraw the
redesignation of North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism and the
addition of targets subject to its unilateral sanctions against North Korea.
