for the Korean Council of Religionists, in a statement, condemned the
US for “redesignating North Korea as a country of particular concern
for violating religious freedom.”

of the Institute for American Studies, affiliated with the Foreign
Ministry, in a statement, blasted the US for redesignating North Korea
as a country of particular concern for violating religious freedom and
emphasized that the North is a “superior socialist state that
guarantees the freedom of religion.”
