1. Minister’s Schedule
Since January 14, Unification Minister Kwon Youngse has been
visiting the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the President's
visit to the UAE and Switzerland.
On January 15, Minister Kwon met with the Minister of Tolerance and
Coexistence of the UAE and explained the Government’s unification and
North Korea policy and exchanged opinions on the UAE’s unification policy.
Minister Kwon will visit Switzerland from January 16 to 20.
2. Vice Minister’s Schedule
On January 17, Vice Minister Kim Ki Woong will attend a plenary
session of the National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs & Unification
Committee at 2 P.M..
On January 20, Vice Minister Kim will visit a traditional market and
social welfare facilities in Jongno-gu to express words of
encouragement on the occasion of Lunar New Year’s Day.
On January 22, the Lunar New Year's Day, the Vice Minister will
attend and deliver remarks at a ceremony held every year on Lunar New
Year’s Day to console the sorrow of displaced people who cannot meet
their family members.
