On March 20, the Ministry of Unification held a
policy briefing for graduate students of Johns Hopkins School of
Advanced International Studies (SAIS) researching North Korea and
Korean Peninsula issues.
“Your research and activities may appear
small, but they can be the starting point for changing the lives of
North Koreans who are deprived of even basic human rights and the
entangled international landscape,” said Minister Kwon Youngse, who
attended the briefing to provide words of encouragement.
The
minister added, “I look forward to seeing you in Washington with a
great sense of mission to take the lead in solving the Korean
Peninsula issues.”
