Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon delivered a special lecture on
“Moon Jae-in’s Policy on the Korean Peninsula” for the 8th Top
Executive Program for Unification Policy on May 3.
The 8th Top Executive Program for Unification Policy commenced on
May 3 and will run through July 26.
Thirty-eight leaders representing the full spectrum of society,
including business, medical, and legal professionals, journalists,
educators, artists, and academics, participated.
Instructors include eminent persons such as Jung Hae-gu, chairman of
the Presidential Commission on Policy Planning; Song Young-gil,
chairman of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic
Cooperation; and Yoo Hong-jun, former administrator of the Cultural
Heritage Administration. The Top Executive Program for Unification
Policy has been run annually since 2012 to help leaders better
understand unification policy and build consensus on unification of
the Korean Peninsula.
The Institute for Unification Education expects that the Top
Executive Program for Unification Policy will indeed do a great deal
to help leaders from all walks of life build the national consensus on
peaceful unification on the Korean Peninsula.
