Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon took part in the opening
ceremony of the Incheon Unification Plus (+) Center held in Michuhol
Tower, Songdo, Incheon on September 10.
The Unification Plus Center was established by consolidating
unification service providers including the Hana Center that handles
settlement support for North Korean defectors and the Unification
Education Center, which were located in different places.
Minister Cho, in his commemorative speech, said that the Unification
Plus Center has great significance as a consolidated platform for
unification tasks, a unification hub, and a space for communication
and participation in policy on North Korea.
He added that the government “will calmly and thoroughly prepare”
for the inter-Korean summit meeting to be held from September 18 to 20.
