Unification Minister Cho participates in the inaugural meeting of the
Forum for Peace and Prosperity on the Korean Peninsula
Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon explained policy at the
inaugural meeting of the Forum for Peace and Prosperity on the Korean
Peninsula held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building,
Yeouido, Seoul on November 1.
Forum representative Park Byeong-seug of the Democratic Party of
Korea said, “The National Assembly has an important role in
establishing sustainable and consistent unification policy regardless
of whatever changes in government may occur.”
Minister Cho said, “The forum is being launched at a critical time
for inter-Korean relations, denuclearization, peace, and prosperity on
the Korean Peninsula.” “It will greatly facilitate the implementation
of policy,” he added.
Following the inaugural meeting, he made a presentation on
“Inter-Korean Relations and Future Plans” for half an hour.
