On June 22, Minister Kwon Youngse paid a courtesy visit to Rev. Lee
Hong-jung, General Secretary of the National Council of Churches in
Korea(NCCK), and exchanged greetings and views on the direction of
Inter-Korean relations.
Minister Kwon likened new administration's North Korea policy to a
relay race in the sense that it will not be dramatically changed and
also mentioned that efforts toward denuclearization will be continued
for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
General Secretary Lee Hong-jung emphasized the importance of
overcoming the division from the people's perspective for peace on the
Korea Peninsula.
