Minister Kim Yung Ho delivers congratulatory remarks at the opening
ceremony of the Maumsory Psychological Counseling Center (September 18)
On September 18, Unification Minister Kim Yung Ho attended the
opening ceremony of the Maumsory Psychological Counseling Center
supporting traumatized North Korean defectors and their mental health.
In his congratulatory remarks, Minister Kim said that the center
will listen to the voices of North Korean defectors and make it a
place for them to communicate and share their stories.
The minister stressed that to do so, it is important for the
government, local governments, and the private sector to come
together, and he “asked for their continued interest and support for
the newly established Maumsory Psychological Counseling Center.”
