A technician from a South Korean maker of ultrasound
systems visits North Korea on Tuesday (June 11) via Beijing to repair an
ultrasound scanners in Pyongyang.
When Rep. Park Geun-hye visited North Korea recently as a
director of the Europe-Korea Foundation, North Koreans asked her to give the
company a list of components that needed to repair ultrasound scanners at the
Pyongyang Obstetrics Hospital.
Informed of the request, Medison Co., the manufacturer of
the device, sent Yu Do-an who was in charge of product-technology to personally
repair the system. Yu, who visits the North upon the approval of the unification
ministry, will leave North Korea on Saturday(June 15). |
