Ministry of Unification
Based on the conclusion that understanding of capitalist
system is the most important factor in North Korean defectors' successful
settlement in South Korea, the Ministry decided to publish education materials
of capitalism for the defectors.
The materials are to be developed with KDI(Korea
Development Institute) School of Public Policy and Management.
The new textbooks,available for use early next year, will
focus on the comparison between South's economic system and that of North Korea.
The textbooks will also feature personal experiences of
previous North Korean defectors as they started new lives in the South. The
German experiences during the process of reunification and its impact on
personal lives will also be included. |
