South and North Korea have agreed to hold a working-level contact on the reconnection of inter-Korean railways and roads in Mt. Geumgang October 12-14.
The agreement was reached Wednesday (Oct. 9) through an exchange of telephone messages between Yoon Jin-shik, the South-side chairman of the South-North Korean Economic Cooperation Committee, and his Northern counterpart, Pak Chang-ryeon.
The two also agreed to hold the first meeting of the inter-Korean working-level council for the construction of the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in Gaeseong October 25-27, the second meeting of the working-level council for the prevention of floods along the Imjin River in the same city October 28-30.
