The Ministry of Unification reported Monday (April 7) that Unification Minister Jeong Se-hyun expressed regrets over the cancellation of the 10th round of inter-Korean ministerial talks, scheduled for April 7 in Pyongyang.
In the statement issued on the same day, the minister stressed the importance of continuing the ministerial talks in part for the international community to maintain its faith in the two Koreas' efforts to improve their relations. He also pointed out that the two Koreas must be continually engaged in dialogue especially when the international political situation is fluid and unpredictable.
The minister said the two Koreas must resume the talks at an early date.
