North Korea rescinds the measures it took on December 1, 2008, to limit travel across the Military Demarcation Line.
l At 5:30 p.m. today, North Korea delivered a notification signed by the military personnel in charge of East and West Sea area on the North s side to the South Korean counterpart, that said the North will rescind the measures it took on December 1, 2008, to limit travel across the Military Demarcation Line.
l At 09:20 p.m. today, the North delivered another notification signed by its Special District General Bureau to the South s Gaeseong Industrial District Management Committee, that said it will rescind the measures it took on December 1, 2008, to limit South Korean personnel s access to and stay in Gaeseong.
- Limit on access and stay of personnel of the Gaeseong Industrial District Management Committee will be revoked.
- Limit on access and stay of personnel of companies and organizations operating at the Gaeseong Industrial District will be revoked.
- The railway transportation between Panmun Station and Paju Station will be resumed and the limit on access and stay of the personnel related to the railway transportation will be revoked.
- The Office of Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation will be resumed to normal operation and the limit on access and stay of related personnel will be revoked.
