With regard to the announcement of North Korea on February 3 regarding its demand for wage hike
l At the 4th Round of Working-Level Meeting on the Gaeseong Industrial Complex on February 1, the issues of 3Cs and accommodation facilities were the main agenda as previously agreed.
- After the meeting, the North and South reached an agreement that the 3C issue would be discussed at the next round of military working-level meeting first and then other issues including lodging and wage would be talked by the related authorities from the two Koreas through a working-level meeting.
l Although the DPRK delegation mentioned the need for wage increase at the 4th meeting, it didn t offer any specific number.
