A special IPTV program for unification education starred by teen celebrities!
IPTV program contents for unification education are being developed
l The Ministry of Unification is creating IPTV program contents in order to boost Korean teenagers interest and understanding in unification.
- The contents will be made teenager-friendly, considering they will be used at schools as supplementary educational materials.
A special IPTV program titled A unification reporter goes to a reunited nation: Germany
l Special programs to help teenagers get more familiar with unification-related issues will include documentaries and various events.
l As part of the program, a special report A unification reporter goes to a reunited nation: Germany will shed light on how things have been going in Germany for 20 years after the unification from teenagers point of view. It will make teenagers think about their future living in a unified nation.
Teen TV stars join the special program
l Three young TV stars - Nam Ji-hyeon (16, starred in Queen Seon Deok), Bak Ji-bin (16, in King Jung Jo) and Yeo Jin -gu (14, in Giant) will appear on it and show how they will recognize the need and importance of unification after witnessing the past and the present of Germany.
l They will leave for Germany on September 9 and have opportunities to learn lessons from the German unification for 9 days to September 17 by visiting the country s major cities including Berlin and Dresden.
- Especially the stars will tweet their feelings and thinking on the German unification real-time and share them with our teenagers.
l The video clip will be provided to schools by IPTV service providers such as SK, KT and LG from early November.
l The program acted by teen stars is expected to contribute to boosting teenagers interest in unification.
Making efforts to create interesting unification education programs.
l The Ministry will produce quality contents for unification education materials after considering changes in youngsters interest so that they could learn unification with fun.
