The Ministry of Unification signed an MOU with the German Federal Ministry of the Interior seeking cooperation for unification
l During Minister Hyun s special visit to Germany to celebrate its 20th anniversary of reunification, our Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding with the German Federal Ministry of the Interior which is in charge of rebuilding East Germany.
- The MOU, the first of its kind, signed by our Ministry with a foreign government is expected to pave the way for expanding international cooperation to prepare for unification on the Korean peninsula.
l Under the agreement, our Ministry and the Interior Ministry will build an advisory committee, share information on the German reunification and integration, conduct joint studies and implement exchange programs for field trips.
