The North s position on the resumption of inter-Korean talks to restart tours to Mt. Geumgang
l The General Guidance Bureau for the Development of Scenic Spots of North Korea send a letter to the Ministry of Unification this afternoon and notified us of its position on talks for resuming tourism.
l The North proposed to talk about the issue of confiscated and frozen property in the tour area near Mt. Geumgang at another round of inter-Korean talks as we demanded, and
- It asked the South Korean authorities to be accompanied to discuss it at the Red Cross talks which will deal with humanitarian issues on November 25th.
l We will attend the next week s Red Cross talks as agreed on October 27th.
