Busan City Hall holds an event for separate families to mark the August 15 National Independence Day.
- Footage of the Mt. Geumgang Reunion Center is shown; the current status and further direction of the inter-Korean relationship is reported; and consolation events are held including the performance of Pyongyang Unification Art Company.
Notice of legislation change: As a measure of reducing regulations, The Enforcement Decree of Items Subject to Permission and Permission Procedure is amended.
Details of the amendment are as follows:
- The period of administrative procedure of permission for bringing items in and out is reduced from 15 days to 10 days.
- The permission period of modification is reduced from 10 days to 5 days.
- The number of items subject to permission is reduced.
The number of participants in unification education: 1047 people are receiving unification education in seven courses
