Recruitment of MOU Web Journalists

The Ministry of Unification of the Republic of Korea (MOU) is looking for MOU Web Journalists who will help us listen to various voices and update the international community on inter-Korean relations, thereby contributing to our decision making process.
1. General Plan
Where: The United States, Germany and the United Kingdom
Whom: Graduates/Undergraduates
How many: Seven
How long: Twelve months
What to do:
A. Regularly monitor and report local media articles on inter-Korean relations
B. Make a report on related seminars/conferences/interviews or write an essay/article once a month, 12 in total (in English)
C. Join our efforts to make the English website serve as a better communication channel
D. Conduct additional tasks upon request
2. Schedule (based on Seoul time)
From November 24 to December 14, receive applications
On December 19, announce the results of the first screening
From December 19 to January 4, 2008, receive test articles
On January 9, announce the results of the final screening

Self-introduction in English and Korean
Letter of reference signed by professor
4. Application
Go to www.unikorea.go.kr/eng, download the application and self-introduction form from News and Statements in Press, fill and submit it with a letter of reference to hanabyun@unikorea.go.kr by December 14th.
Please note that application and self-introduction should be saved as Application_Name.doc and the letter of reference as Reference_Student name.jpg. Late applications will not be accepted.
