R.O.K. Government’s stance regarding the statement by the spokesperson of North Korea’s ‘Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland’
August 18, 2013
- The R.O.K. government positively evaluates that North Korea agreed to our proposal to hold working-level Red Cross contacts on August 23rd for reunion of the separated families around Chuseok.
- However, we propose once again that the venue for the talks be at Panmunjeom Peace House as we have initially proposed.
- As for North Korea’s proposal to hold working-level inter-Korean talks for the resumption of the Mt.Geumgang tour, the R.O.K. government will announce our stance after review.
