R.O.K. Government's Stance on the
Normalization of the Panmunjeom Communications Channel

□ Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the
'Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland' stated
through KCTV that North Korea will normalize the Panmunjeom
communications channel today(1.3).
□ The R.O.K. Government welcomes that
North Korea responded to our proposal to normalize the Panmunjeom
communications channel.
o Further procedures regarding
inter-Korean government talks proposed yesterday will be discussed
through the communications channel.
