Ministry of Unification to hold one-year
anniversary event for the signing of 「Pyongyang Joint Declaration of
September 2018」

□ The Ministry of Unification will hold a commemoratory event to
look back at the significance and progress of the ｢Pyongyang Joint
Declaration of September 2018｣ at the Office of Inter-Korean Dialogue
on Thursday, September 19.
o Around 100 individuals are expected to participate, including
government officials partaking in the implementation of the Pyongyang
Joint Declaration and key inter-Korean policy personnel. The event
will kick off with Unification Minister Kim Yeon Chul’s commemorative
speech, followed by congratulatory remarks by guests, a concert, and
an exhibition tour.
o The Unification Ministry anticipates the event to be a meaningful
opportunity to gather the hopes of our nationals for peace, harmony
and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula. The Ministry will continue its
efforts to carry out the agreements made in the Pyongyang Joint Declaration.
