【Internal Affairs】
From July 9 to July 15, the North Korean media reported Kim Jong Un’s public activities as follows: Kim provided field guidance on 1) the Pyongsong Synthetic Leather Factory and 2) the Paektusan Architectural Institute.
 
On July 11, the North Korean media reported that the North is developing the Mubong International Special Tourist Zone.

【Inter-Korean Affairs】
On July 9, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth Behind the GIs’ Crimes, in a statement, condemned the ROK-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), which marks its 50th anniversary as “a slave document of a modern version” and “the root cause bringing all sorts of misfortune and pain” to the South Koreans.
 
On July 9, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Democratic Women's Union of Korea consistently maintained, in a statement, that the group defection of overseas North Korean restaurant workers was “an act of kidnapping” and criticized the ROK President by name, saying that “It was an anti-North Korea scheme cooked up by the Park puppet group.”
 
On July 10, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, denounced the South Korean government’s remarks on the “possibility of North Korean terror attack.”

On July 15, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, emphasized Amnesty International’s public statement, “South Korea: End secrecy surrounding North Korean restaurant workers” and called on the South Korean authorities to “confirm whether they are alive or not and repatriate them immediately.”

【Foreign Affairs】
On July 11, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned the decision to deploy the THAAD system on the Korean Peninsula.
