From November 7 to 11, the North Korean media reported the opening of a variety of exhibitions and presentations: the 27th National Exhibition of Consumer Goods; the 20th National Exhibition of Sports Scientific and Technological Achievements; the National Scientific and Technological Presentation on the field of fruit cultivation; the National Scientific and Technological Presentation on printing; a photo exhibition marking the sixth Congress of the Democratic Women’s Union of Korea (DWUK); and an exhibition of achievements made by the DWUK.

【Foreign Affairs】
On November 5, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Committee for Aiding Overseas Compatriots of Korea, in a statement, denounced Japan’s National Police Agency and Public Security Intelligence Agency for searching Korean residents in Japan who had returned to the country after visiting North Korea. It called such anti-humanitarian and oppressive measure a serious provocation against the DPRK and demanded that Japan behave itself.
