From November 28 to December 2, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Education Committee, in a statement, denounced the South for unveiling the draft of state-authorized history textbooks (November 28) and instigated an anti-government campaign (December 2).
On December 2, the North Korean media reported that the North Side Preparatory Committee for the Joint Conference of Political Parties, Organizations and Personages in the North and the South and Abroad for the Peace and Independent Reunification of the Korean Peninsula announced a press release on a working-level meeting for a great national conference for reunification.

On November 28, the North Korean media reported that a delegation of senior officials left the country for Cuba to pay respects to Fidel Castro.
On December 1, the North Korean media reported that the North “vigorously denounced the adoption of UNSC Resolution 2321 as a violation of its sovereignty” and “asserted that it would take a much stronger self-defensive response.”
On December 2, the North Korean media reported that the Korean Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, in a statement, condemned the adoption of the UNSC resolution on sanctions against North Korea.
On December 2, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Peace Advocacy National Committee, in a statement, denounced the South for signing the ROK-Japan General Security of Military Information Agreement and instigated an anti-government campaign.
