From February 21 to 23, the North Korean media reported Kim Jong Un’s public activities as follows: Kim provided field guidance at 1) the Samchon Catfish Farm and 2) watched an art performance to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the State Merited Chorus.
 
On February 22, the North Korean media reported that the 32nd Festival of Science and Technology of Kim Il Sung University opened.
 
On February 23, the North Korean media reported that a meeting was held to review the socialist emulation for increased production at the “Four Brothers” factories, and factories and enterprises of farm machines and parts in 2016.

On February 23, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland, in a statement, condemned the South Korean Foreign Minister’s remarks on the North Korean nuclear issue at the Munich Security Conference (February 18).
 
On February 23, the North Korean media reported that the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation, in a memorandum, denounced the name change of the Saenuri Party to the Liberty Korea Party and instigated an anti-government campaign.
 
On February 24, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation, in a statement, condemned the ROK President’s defense team for “requesting a delay of the closing arguments” and the Liberty Korea Party for opposing an extension of the investigation period for the special prosecutors.

On February 23, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Jurists Committee, in a statement, stated that the North Korean resident (Kim Jong Nam) “died of a heart attack” and denied that North Korea had masterminded the death.
