From March 4 to 6, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, and the Youth and Students Department of the Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF), in a letter of appeal to the entire South Korean youth and students, instigated an anti-government campaign regarding the impeachment trial.
From March 7 to 10, the North Korean media reported that the North, South and Abroad Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea’s Reunification, in a joint statement, and a spokesperson for the Korean Council of Religionists, in a statement, condemned the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle (KR/FE) exercises and instigated an anti-government campaign.
On March 9, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Peace Advocacy National Committee, in a statement, denounced the early deployment of THAAD and threatened the South.
On March 10, the North Korean media reported that the ROK Constitutional Court upheld the impeachment of the President.

On March 4, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, maintained that “the DPRK will achieve the balance of power by strengthening nuclear strike force” in response to the start of the ROK-US joint military exercises and the Trump administration’s mention of “Peace Through Strength.”
On March 6, the North Korean media reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ordered, at 10 a.m. on March 5, 2017, the Malaysian ambassador to the DPRK to leave the country within 48 hours.
On March 7, the North Korean media reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notified that the North will refuse the departure of Malaysian citizens in North Korea temporarily until the security of North Korean diplomats and citizens in Malaysia is secured.
On March 8, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, denounced the UN Security Council for adopting a press statement condemning North Korea’s missile launch (March 6) and categorically rejected the statement, saying that “It is a brigandish act like a thief crying ‘stop thief!’”
