On November 15, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the Kumsong Tractor Factory.
 
On November 12-13, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju provided field guidance at the construction site for establishing the "carbon one chemical industry" and the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex.
 
On November 13, the North Korean media reported on the increasing productivity of coal mines in the western areas including the Bukchang Area Youth Coal Mine Complex and the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mine Complex.

On November 11, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned US President Donald Trump's Asia tour.
 
On November 16, the North Korean media reported that Vice Foreign Minister Choe Hui Chol, in a statement, criticized the remarks on North Korea by Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull (likening North Korea to a crime syndicate on November 12). 
 
On November 17, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the DPRK-Japan Exchange Association, in a Q&A session with KCNA reporters, denounced Japanese press (Asahi Shimbun and TV Asahi) reports about the return of North Korean workers dispatched abroad due to the UN ban on hiring of additional North Korean workers abroad and a tunnel collapse at a nuclear test site in North Korea following a nuclear weapons test.
