【Internal Affairs】
On February 17, 19 and 23, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un visited revolutionary schools and delivered gifts to primary school children and children across the nation on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star; extended his gratitude to workers at construction sites of the waterway tunnel in South Hwanghae Province; and extended his appreciation to exemplary agitators in South Pyongan Province.
 
On February 17, the North Korean media reported that the Samjiyon Orchestra performed after returning to Pyongyang.
 
On February 20, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju provided field guidance at the Chollima Steel Complex.
 
On February 21, the North Korean media reported that a meeting of officials in reforestation, land, and environmental protection was held.
 
On February 23, the North Korean media reported that a 2017 socialist emulation for increased production of gran and fish was held in Pyongyang on February 22.

On February 18, the North Korean media emphasized the Korean people’s self-reliance in improving inter-Korean relations.
 
On February 21, the North Korean media reported that the North called on the South Korean government to reject the foreign power with regard to the flag of a unified Korean Peninsula which does not include the Dokdo Islets.

On February 19, the North Korean media condemned US President Trump’s remarks about possible military action against North Korea.
 
On February 22, the North Korean media reported that a spokesperson for the Korean Peace Advocacy National Committee, in a statement, denounced the US-Japan joint exercise to test Integrated Air and Missile Defense Interoperability (February 16-23).
 
On February 23, the North Korean media emphasized that the North will never give up its nuclear programs and its status as a nuclear power.
