On July 3, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju
gave field guidance at various units in the Tokchon area.

general offensive to build a powerful socialist country in the lead-up
to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK in September.

conservative parties for underscoring security on the occasion of the
anniversary of the Korean War on June 25.
On July 2, the North Korean media blasted the South Korean
conservative media’s reports regarding the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
On July 4, the 46th anniversary of the July 4 South-North Joint
Statement, the North Korean media asserted that “the Panmunjeom
Declaration is a new milestone of independent unification.”
