reported that Kim Jong Un met Russian Federation Council Speaker
Valentina Matviyenko; visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun; watched
a military parade and participated in a mass rally in Pyeongyang;
attended a central report meeting; watched a grand mass gymnastics and
artistic performances; met Li Zhanshu, chairman of the National
People’s Congress of China; and watched a welcome performance and
joined a banquet for Li Zhanshu and his delegation from China.
On
September 8, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju
made a field survey of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and the
Taean Friendship Glass Factory.

On September 12, the North Korean media
condemned the ROK military’s Defense Reform 2.0 and field tactical
training.
On September 14, the North Korean media emphasized the
thorough implementation of the Panmunjeom Declaration under the
principle of national independence.
【Foreign Affairs】
On September 11, the North Korean media
blasted the US regarding the disapproval by the United Nations Command
(UNC) of a visit by South Korean personnel to the North for an
inter-Korean railway inspection.
