【Internal Affairs】
On September 15, the North Korean media reported that Premier Pak Pong Ju made a field survey of various units in Pyeongyang.

On September 17, the North Korean media emphasized the establishment of a societal ethos of putting the overall national interest first.
On September 19, the North Korean media reported that the 16th Pyongyang International Film Festival opened.

On September 20, the North Korean media reported that an international conference was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Kim Chaek University of Technology.

【Inter-Korean Affairs】
On September 19-21, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un welcomed South Korean President Moon Jae-in at Pyongyang International Airport; held the fifth inter-Korean summit meeting; watched a welcome performance for President Moon; arranged a welcome banquet for President Moon; held a meeting for Day 2; signed the September Pyeongyang Joint Declaration; announced the September Pyeongyang Joint Declaration with President Moon; had a dinner with President Moon at Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant; watched a grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance with President Moon; greeted President Moon at Samjiyon Airport; climbed Mount Baekdu with President Moon; had lunch with President Moon in Samjiyon; and saw President Moon off at Samjiyon Airport.

On September 18-21, the North Korean media reported on the inter-Korean summit in Pyeongyang: First Lady Kim Jung-sook visited the Okryu Children’s Hospital and the Kim Won Gyun University of Music; Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, had conversation with the South Korean officials accompanying President Moon Jae-in; the North Korean officials had conversation with the South’s special entourage (representatives of civic groups and businesses); President Moon planted a tree to mark his visit to Pyeongyang; President Moon and First Lady Kim Jung-sook visited the Mansudae Art Studio; Kim Yong Nam had conversations with representatives of the South Korean political parties; and the South Korean delegation visited the Pyongyang Teacher Training College in Pyeongyang and Tree Nursery No. 122 of the KPA in Songrim City of North Hwanghae Province.

On September 15, the North Korean media reported that the opening ceremony for the inter-Korean joint liaison office was held.

On September 17, the North Korean media emphasized that the North is determined to proceed with inter-Korean relations and not derail them.

【Foreign Affairs】
On September 15, the North Korean media condemned US conservatives for their skepticism on the North Korea-US dialogue.

On September 18, the North Korean media argued that the cause of the deadlock in North Korea-US negotiations is the US’s insistence that the North give up its nuclear weapons first.

On September 16, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un sent a response letter to Chinese President Xi, who had sent a letter celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK on September 9.
