reported on Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho’s overseas trip: he met
Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi
(December 9); his Mongolian counterpart Damdin Tsogtbaatar (December
9); and Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Ulziisaikhan Enkhtuvshin
(December 10).
On December 11, the North Korean media reported that Ri Su Yong,
vice chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, met with the Vietnamese
ambassador to North Korea.
On December 11, the North Korean media blasted the US for reapplying
a Presidential Determination that prevents non-humanitarian and
non-trade-related assistance to the DPRK for Fiscal Year 2019 pursuant
to section 110(d)(1)(A)(ii) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act
