【Internal Affairs】
On September 7 and 11, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un posed for a photo with the participants in the 14th National Conference of Teachers, gave field guidance at the test-firing of a super-large multiple rocket launcher, and expressed his appreciation to the officials, scientists, and technicians in defense science research.

On September 7, the North Korean media reported that the North took emergency measures to minimize the damage from Lingling, this year’s 13th typhoon.

On September 8, the North Korean media reported that the State Emergency Disaster Committee had reported five deaths and three injuries due to Typhoon Lingling.

On September 13, the North Korean media reported that the leading officials of the Party, government, and armed forces laid wreaths at the Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs’ Cemetery in Sinmi-ri, and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs’ Cemetery on the occasion of Chuseok.
