the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of
Korea (WPK).
On February 15, the North Korean media reported that the North made
progress in the first-stage construction of the Tanchon Power Station.
On February 16, the North Korean media reported that Premier Kim Jae
Ryong gave field guidance at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the
Jangsan Mine, the construction site of the Sunchon Phosphate
Fertilizer Factory, the Chollima Steel Complex, and the Pungnyeon Mine.
On February 18, the North Korean media maintained that the
revolutionary traditions of Mount Baekdu are the driving force behind
victory after victory even amid a raging storm of anti-socialism.
On February 18, the North Korean media reported that the North
completed the construction of Orangchon Power Station No. 4.
On February 20, the North Korean media argued that there was no
coronavirus outbreak in the North while urging the people to wholly
participate in anti-epidemic hygiene efforts.
On February 21, the North Korean media emphasized that self-reliance
is an immutable way forward, or a means of development of Juche Korea.
On February 21, the North Korean media underscored science and
technology as a strategic asset, saying that developing science and
technology is the best way to neutralize the enemies’ blockage of
science and technology and accelerate the development of socialism.

activities including the latest US-Japan air force drill.
