【Internal Affairs】

On April 10, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un gave filed guidance at the firing drills by the mortar sub-units for each corps.

On April 5, the North Korean media reported that the North will carry out the spring hygienic work to help prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

On April 7, the North Korean media called on all party members to take the initiative and set an example while urging primary party committees and the party cell to assume greater responsibilities.

On April 7, the North Korean media reported that the North is carrying out afforestation and greening work in the construction site of the Sunchon Phosphate Fertilizer Factory.

【Foreign Affairs】

On April 7, the North Korean media reported the signing of the 2020-2023 Plan for Cultural Exchange between the governments of the DPRK and the Kingdom of Cambodia.

On April 9, the North Korean media blasted the Japanese Prime Minister’s statement at a recent commencement ceremony held at Defense University, including his calling for the strengthening of the alliance between Japan and the US and expansion of Japan’s role in defense.

On April 10, the North Korean media condemned Japan’s Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry for approving history textbooks that misrepresent history including Japan’s argument for sovereignty over the Dokdo islets.
