speech and emphasized the achievements for the last one year on the

¥216.6 million ($2.01 million) in educational aid funds and academic
stipends to Korean children in Japan through the General Association
of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on the occasion of the 108th
birthday of the late Kim Il Sung.
