presided over the fifth meeting of the 7th Central Military Commission
of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and gave field guidance at the
construction site of Pyongyang General Hospital and the construction
site for the Kwangchon Chicken Farm.
On July 18, the North Korean media reported the completion of the
construction of sub-networks for communications facilities for
building Pyongyang General Hospital.
On July 19, the North Korean media underscored that the North should
hasten the works necessary to prevent damage from rainfall in all
sectors and at all units, adding that taking thorough measures is
important to protecting the lives, property, and safety of the people
and to defending the natural resources and the achievements of
building a socialist economy.
On July 21, the North Korean media reported the completion of the
Ichon Army-People Power Station in Gangwon Province.
On July 24, the North Korean media reported the completion of Pihyon
Power Station No. 2 in Pihyeon, North Pyeongan Province.

On July 19, the North Korean media underscored the relationship of
friendship and cooperation on the 20th anniversary of the publication
of the DPRK-Russia Joint Declaration.
On July 24, the North Korean media condemned Japan regarding the
Japan-Korea Treaty of July 1907.
