celebrating the 8th Party Congress were held at Pyongyang Gymnasium.
On January 26, the North Korean media reported that Kim Jong Un
called on the WPK to establish plans to thoroughly implement the new
five-year economic plan.
On January 27, the North Korean media reported that city and county
party officials studied and discussed the report on the work of the
7th Central Committee of the WPK made at the 8th Party Congress.
On January 27, the North Korean media reported that the North began
operations to solve the people’s food, clothing, and housing shortages
during the five-year economic plan.
On January 28, the North Korean media introduced the socialist
healthcare program that gives shape to the Party’s idea of “Believing
in People as in Heaven.”
